All You Need to Know About Your Floating Breakfast Bali Experience
Now let’s talk about a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A floating breakfast in Bali is the definite winner! You cannot go to Bali without having a floating breakfast. When planning my trip to Bali, I spent hours researching budget-friendly activities. Many floating breakfasts require you to be staying at an expensive accommodation and that wasn’t an option for me. When I came across this floating breakfast, I was very excited!
Let’s get this straight, you don’t need to spend hundreds a night at a luxury hotel to get served with a floating breakfast in Bali. How exciting is this?!
Cabina Bali in Seminyak provides you with a floating breakfast experience that you do not need to break the bank for. I honestly found it very reasonably priced for what I got. There are a few meal options to choose from, which all have a different menu. I went for the standard option called “Regular Floating Brunch” out of the three. Don’t worry, this is definitely a great option. The food at Cabina Bali was fantastic and you will see the amount of food this option provides! What Is the Best Part of the Cabina Bali Floating Breakfast?
Now onto the best part of a floating breakfast in Bali. It’s obviously the photoshoot! Don’t worry, you will not be the only one taking pictures of yourself at Cabina Bali. When I was there, every other person was having their own little photoshoot. There were about 4-5 groups during my slot time. At first, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get my Instagram photoshoot in, but because the Bali breakfasts are all served at different times, you will get your area of the pool to yourself.
Wondering How to Make the Most of Your Breakfast in Bali?
#1. Reserve Your Date and Time Far in Advance
Your first step to receiving this incredible Bali breakfast experience is booking your reservation. Now, if you have been on Instagram, everyone is interested in a floating breakfast in Bali. So, because of this, reservations are booked months in advance. I booked months in advance, and they emailed me back with an alternative date. This can be scary when you have your trip all planned out already. When you reserve, you will also be choosing what menu option you want so make sure you have taken a look on their website for this. Here is a link to their website menu.
#2. Plan Your Outfit
Wondering what to wear in Bali? Especially for your floating breakfast? If you are going to have a floating breakfast experience, you must take pictures! Now, you will be in a pool so your outfit will need to consist of a cute bathing suit. I bought my bright coloured one that you see in my pictures at Old Navy. I couldn’t find the link to the one I bought, but here is a link to one similar. I didn’t care for a picture on the lounge chairs by the pool, so I didn’t have any cover-ups, but you can if this is your thing! So if you are wondering what to wear in Bali for your incredible floating breakfast experience, you will need to pack a bathing suit and a cute outfit for your out-of-water pictures!
#3. Take Pictures, Pictures, Pictures (Don’t stop Snapping)
Make sure to get those Instagram pictures! The manager there will take some for you, and she knows the best lighting spots. My advice is to take a lot of pictures from different angles and change up your poses. You don’t just want one floating breakfast picture haha. I have recently looked and they now offer a paid photoshoot service.
The service at Cabina Bali was incredible. I had the funniest experience during my once-in-a-lifetime Bali breakfast. If you want to hear all about my floating breakfast Bali experience, keep reading and try not to laugh too hard!
#4. PRO TIP
Please try to avoid what I did and do not lean on the floating breakfast tray when getting into the pool!! I did this and spilled my breakfast everywhere! Luckily, the staff was incredible and brought out a new dish for me.
For a budget-friendly high-class breakfast in Bali. I highly recommend the Cabina Bali floating breakfast experience.
Once you are in the Seminyak area for your Cabina Bali floating breakfast, make sure to see the other great places to see and things to do in Seminyak such as boutique shops, great cafes/restaurants, and beautiful scenery.
Featured Days
One of the best parts of Cabina Bali is that they have many different options that suit everyone’s interests. If you aren’t looking for that floating breakfast in Bali experience, they have other options.
They offer a Crafternoon Poolside every day where you can enjoy the sunset as well as a selection of fine bites and snacks served with cocktails or mocktails.
Another option is called Freeflow Ladies Day which is offered every Wednesday. This is where you can enjoy a tropical cocktail which is served in a Dragonfruit, Pineapple, or Watermelon while you sit next to the pool.
The third option is a BBQ Poolside which is offered every Thursday and Friday from 3 pm – 9 pm. They feature a Live Dj Disco Experience and all-you-can-eat snacks for 50k IDR per person. If you are interested, you can also pay 10kIDR and get grilled seafood and meat on a grill next to the pool.
This may be of interest to many, which is a Free Flow Beer Package and SuperSized Tropical “in a fruit” Cocktails for 100k IDR.
You can find all of this information more in detail, on Cabina Bali’s website.
