My Travel Blog Story
My name is Peyton and I am an Elementary school teacher who currently lives in Canada. I created this Golden Undertones travel blog to share more about my passion for travel and my dietary journey.
I graduated from York University in 2015 where I played varsity soccer which was my greatest passion at the time. Now as a retired athlete (haha), I had to find something new to obsess over!!
I was first introduced to travelling when my boyfriend wanted to go to Thailand. At the time, I thought it was much too far and he literally had to force me to go on the trip. Guess what? I fell in love!
I began to do a lot of research for the trip to Thailand and then for my trip to Bali, and realized that I wanted to put it all down somewhere. I wanted to share my travel experiences with others so they were able to experience the amazing things that I did. This is how Golden Undertones came to life.
Currently, my second greatest passion is exploring different cuisines. This started when I was in my second degree at York University and I started to explore cooking different meals every week. My food journey is one that is a long one, so it will have to wait for now…
I love discovering new places around the world. I am very passionate about finding the best places to stay at, the best things to do, and the best restaurants at the travel destination.
