Fresh, healthy, and locally grown produce? Bo & Bun Seminyak is the perfect place for your cravings for Thai food in Seminyak. I was staying in the Legian area during my stay in Bali but that did not stop me from making my way to Bo n Bun Seminyak. Amazing food will never ever stop me!
If you aren’t drooling yet from this picture of Thai food in Seminyak, just wait to see the rest!
GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE OF BO N BUN SEMINYAK
I walked from Legian to Seminyak through the main street Jl. Raya Seminyak. It did take just under an hour to get there but once you get there, you will definitely have the appetite to try a few items from the Bo and Bun menu. On your way back, there are a variety of great boutique shops you could stop by. Jl. Raya Seminyak is known to be an upscale shopping street with boutique stores. Mad Pops is obviously one that I stopped by to get my Instagram picture. This Mad Pops Location is perfect to get your Instagram-worthy picture during the day and it has the cutest quote!
Like I’ve said before, I am a budget traveler and this is the reason I stayed in Legian rather than Seminyak. Seminyak has beautiful shops, restaurants, beach clubs, and hotels but it is too pricey for my budget.
Now back to the Bo and Bun menu. They are an Asian fusion restaurant with a focus on Vietnamese cooking. I am someone who would love to go to Vietnam one day and I will, but before then Bo & Bun Seminyak definitely satisfied my Vietnamese cravings. Bo n Bun Seminyak offers authentic and tasty food. The food was very fresh with great ingredients and flavours. They have vegetarian options, awesome staff, and a great vibe! Here is a link to their menu.
I recommend getting their 18-Hour Pork Belly Bites Vietnamese Salad from Bo and Bun Seminyak. The pork belly bites were delicious and also looked delicious as you can see in my pictures. The fresh rolls were super fresh and refreshing, perfect for my appetizer. After my hour-long walk, I needed something refreshing. Their pad thai was also delicious. I know this isn’t a Vietnamese dish, but I can’t help myself when it comes to pad thai. Pad thai always wins on the menu for me! Even though this restaurant is in Bali and not Thailand, this Thai food in Seminyak was very authenetic.
Below you will see Bo n Bun Seminyak’s pad thai and fresh rolls. The peanut sauce that came with the fresh rolls was insanely amazing!
Pho is another of my favourite recipes. It is something I get almost weekly in Canada during the winter months. At Bo & Bun Seminyak, I know their “12 Hour Pho” is highly recommended, but the weather was too hot that day for me. If you are visiting Bo & Bun Seminyak during a cooler day, their “12 Hour Pho” might be a good option for you.
If you book through this app and website, you will get 30% off your bill at Bo & Bun Seminyak. This app is how they make dining reservations now, so why not make a reservation to enjoy the environment and get 30% off your bill.
