Canggu = surfer central! Canggu Bali has a younger crowd vibe with amazing food options including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. It lies in between Seminyak and a popular tourist destination Tanah Lot. Here you will find waves you can surf from sunrise to sunset. For those non-surfers like myself, just sit back and watch in awe because they are so much fun to watch!
There are several areas where you can stay in Canggu Bali, but the one I recommend is Batu Bolong. Restaurants, cafes, and beaches are all within walking distance which is a bonus since I love walking! In Canggu, it is very easy to relax at a beach club, take in the sun, and watch the surfers all day long (this is what I did and I loved it!). The sunset in Canggu, Bali is spectacular every single night, so I recommend finding a place to watch it with the rest of the town!
