Ubud has some great Indonesian restaurants. I have listed the absolute BEST food hotspots in Ubud. As someone with many dietary restrictions, I was nervous about travelling to Bali and being able to communicate this. To my delight, I found that most people spoke English very well and it was easy to communicate with them. Due to this, it is pretty easy to request IBS friendly dishes by simply asking “no garlic or onions”. Accommodations can be difficult to find on vacation.
