Bali is full of so many great things to do. To answer the question if two weeks in Bali is too long, the answer is absolutely not. I think it’s the perfect length if you are looking to spend a few days in different places. Two weeks in Bali allows you t see the best of Bali.
This Bali itinerary includes a variety of different things such as hiking, relaxation, and some excellent Bali food options. This is a 2 week Bali itinerary that you will absolutely love.
“If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine, it’s lethal.” – Paul Coelho
The way I like to travel is a way to thoroughly enjoy the culture, environment and food in every location I pass through. Of course there are times when you don’t want to leave a place because you are enjoying it so much, but this is why I have created the perfect two weeks in Bali itinerary so you can enjoy every single part of Bali. My Bali itinerary hits the best things to do in Bali on a budget. Below I have listed the number of nights I recommend staying in each place for a two-week Bali itinerary.
Overview of your Two Weeks in Bali Itinerary
- 3 Days in Ubud
- 4 Days in Canggu
- 3 Days on Nusa Islands
- 3 Days in Seminyak
Keep reading below to answer the question if two weeks in Bali is too long and to read about my two weeks in Bali itinerary.
Ubud, Bali Itinerary (3 Days)
DAY #1
Campuhan Ridge Walk
To begin your two weeks in Bali, why not start your day off in Ubud with a walk to Campuhan Ridge Walk. Campuhan Ridge Walk is a short 15-minute walk from Ubud City Centre. This walk can get hot in the strong afternoon Bali sun, so it is best to head out there in the early morning. It is stunning for a morning sunrise.
Milk and Madu
After your lovely walk at Campuhan Ridge Walk, make sure to make a stop at Milk and Madu for brunch. They have delicious food for all of your preferences. This cafe has super cute decor for your pictures and the food is also great. Don’t miss out on this cafe during your two weeks in Bali.
Yoga Barn
End your evening off with a relaxing yoga session or start your morning with a brightening yoga session. You can’t visit Ubud without participating in yoga. Yoga Barn is a very popular yoga facility in Bali. The environment is the best part of this studio. You have to make a stop here during your two weeks in Bali.
Melting Wok
For dinner, enjoy an incredible Indonesian restaurant, the Melting Wok. I recommend making a reservation as it is a smaller restaurant with not too many tables.
DAY #2
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
This forest is occupied by hundreds of long-tailed Balinese macaques. The monkeys will come near you, so make sure you are not advertising anything shiny. You will witness monkeys playing and eating in their habitat.
Seniman Coffee Studio
After spending a few hours with Balinese monkeys, you may want to relax and grab an iced coffee from Seniman Coffee Studio.
Ubud Art Market
If you have a love for shopping, don’t miss out on Ubud’s Art Market. This is where you will find the best and most inexpensive artisan products in Bali. This art market is where you will want to spend your time purchasing gifts for people at home. These are the best prices, so don’t forget to swing by during your two weeks in Bali.
DAY #3
Mount Batur Sunrise Trek
I was a bit hesitant to go on this trek, but let me tell you how happy I am that I did it. This trek is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This wasn’t an easy hike at all, I would consider it moderately difficult.
Kokolato
Kokkolato is temporarily closed right now. I am keeping them on my list hoping they will reopen. Why not treat yourself with some delicious coconut ice cream after that intense sunrise trek. Kokolato is a family-owned ice cream parlor that has some great ice cream flavours.
If you are heading to Ubud and want to get a few things in, just one day, I have the perfect 10 Hour Ubud Itinerary for you.
Canggu, Bali (4 Days)
DAY #1
Love Anchor
A great market for artisan products. Love Anchor is a great place to walk around and find products that you couldn’t find at Ubud Art Market. The prices at this market are increased, but they do have some products that weren’t at Ubud Market.
The Lawn Canggu
The Lawn Canggu is one of Canggu’s beautiful beach clubs. The Lawn features many spots where you can sit down and relax while enjoying the Bali sun. There is a minimum spend at the Lawn Canggu, but you can use that credit to order food on their menu.
Tanah Lot at sunset
A favourite for many, Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot features a beautiful temple located on a rock that is surrounded by the sea. During low tide, you can walk to the temple, but during high tide, the temple looks like it is floating. Many people love visiting Tanah Lot for the sunrise and sunset.
DAY #2
Serenity Yoga
One of Canggu’s popular yoga spots. Why not start your day off with a nice yoga class before you go for a nice brunch.
Avocado Factory
If you love avocados, then this place is for you! Avocado with most items on the menu, and its delicious!
Old Man’s Bar
A great option to grab a few beers or cocktails. This is a very busy place in the evening, so make sure to head there early and grab a spot to sit.
DAY #3
Cafe Organic
This is a perfect place for a nice lunch before your relaxing day at the beach club. They are health conscious which is a bonus, so they feature quality ingredients on their menu.
La Brisa
Free entry and a great time! At La Brisa, you get to sit on a bean bag and enjoy the surfers hitting the waves in front of you. This was one of my favourite spots in Canggu to relax.
Dandelion Cafe
A Balinese cuisine that you will absolutely love! The environment, the people and everything about this place has good vibes.
DAY #4
You will fall in love with Canggu Bali and not want to leave. We originally booked only two nights, but we ended up leaving and then coming back to Canggu because the vibe couldn’t be beaten.
Crate Cafe
A huge hipster vibe here! The environment is awesome but so is the food. They have a large menu full of smoothie bowls, salads and sandwiches. You will want to make sure to stop by here before leaving the Canggu area
Finns Beach Club
A very popular beach club in Canggu. This place is very busy and large. Finns Beach Club features 2 pools, 5 bars, 2 restaurants and constant music!
Nusa Islands (3 Days)
DAY #1
Nusa Cennigan
Nusa Ceningan is an island connected to Nusa Lembongan by a yellow bridge. There are no cars on the island, so everyone travels around by scooter, buggy, or with a tour. I recommend staying for 3 days to give yourself one day on each Nusa Island and one day to just relax and enjoy the environment.
DAY #2
Devils Tears
Devils Tears is a huge attraction for those visiting Nusa Lembongan. It is a stunning sunset spot. When you approach Devils Tears, you will witness the waves from the ocean crashing into the cove.
Ohana’s Beach Lounge & Boutique Beachfront Resort
I got a beautiful sunset picture that you will see below, from this beach lounge. They have a beautiful aesthetic that makes you feel like you are at a fancy beach lounge. The food and music make Ohana’s Beach Lounge a great option to relax on the island of Nusa Lembongan.
DAY #3
Snorkeling with Manta Rays
Manta Rays? Yes! Nusa Lembongan is known for its snorkeling tours with Manta Rays. Manta Rays are gentle giants, so don’t get too freaked out. You can book a tour with any tour company in Nusa Lembongan.
Seminyak , Bali (3 Days)
Day #1
Surf Lessons
If you’re in Bali, you must take surf lessons! There are many surf companies in Kuta that you can hire to take you for group or individual lessons.
Crumb & Coaster
After spending a few hours in the water surfing, you will want to indulge in a nice meal. Crumb & Coaster has great food and coffee.
DAY #2
Floating Breakfast
A must-do experience in Bali! You will experience eating breakfast on a tray in a pool. There are many places that offer this experience, but here is a budget-friendly floating breakfast experience in Bali.
Shopping in Seminyak
After your breakfast in Bali, there are many boutique shops you can find in Seminyak. There is a mall called Seminyak Village that has some great stores as well as some locals selling their products. In Seminyak, there is a street named Jalan Laksmana which is known for having every kind of shop possible. If you are a shopaholic, these two places are for you!
Bo and Bun Seminyak
Bo and Bun Seminyak will satisfy all of your cravings! Their menu includes fresh ingredients which makes every item on their menu a hit! Check out this blog post that includes all you need to know about Bo and Bun Seminyak.
DAY #3
Kynd Community Cafe
For all of those vegan eaters! Kynd Community is a cafe with great vibes and a pink wall for those Instagram pictures! Kynd Community features a vegan menu and a great atmosphere.
La Plancha
This is a beautiful sunset spot in Seminyak. They have the cutest colorful umbrellas with bean bags set up. You can order a drink to enjoy the sunset. You will want to feel this vibe during your two weeks in Bali.
This Bali itinerary takes you all around Bali in the best way. This is the perfect way to spend two weeks in Bali. The only reason you will need to visit Bali again is to enjoy the food and experiences all over again. It won’t be from missing out on seeing the hidden gems.

Even two months in Bali are ok in my opinion!! As you said, I like to travel and visit a lot of things, but I also need to relax, so the longer the holiday is the better. I have been to Bali and you did put great spots. I would probably also like to viait the rice terraces and do a bit of yoga there, but everything else sounds just right! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for your reply! I agree about the rice terraces, it’s definitely beautiful!
I’ve been dying to go to Bali for ages. I had it all planned for 2020 and had accommodation booked for a month. Sadly Covid happened so I never made it out there. Your blog has some great recommendations for when my trip finally happens. Yoga Barn has been on my list for ages. It looks great!
I was recently in Bali for a week and wish we stayed longer! We stayed in Seminyak, I wish we got to explore more places! We did go to Bo and Bun, it was yum!
I honestly feel like the amount of time you spend totally depends on your perspective. I love spending more time in one place to really learn about it. Planning to visit Bali and this post has so many great tips!

I love all your recommendations for Bali. I don’t think it’s never enough time in Bali! I met my spouse for the first time there. It’s so special to us.
Great recommendations. I never been out of the country and sounds like a good place to go too.
We recently spent 5 days in Bali and wished we spent longer. Two weeks sounds like the perfect time!
